From the legendary CBGB’s (may it rest in peace) in NYC to Hotel Café in LA, Paul Jacobsen has made the rounds, playing shows with acts like Sheryl Crow, The Jayhawks, Ron Sexsmith, Glen Phillips (Toad The Wet Sprocket) Suzanne Vega, Colin Hay, and a long list of others. He's a founding member of the gospel-folk collective The Lower Lights and, for over a decade, was the curator of annual tribute shows for the Rooftop Concert Series, featuring tributes to Tom Petty, The Stones, Bowie, Neil Young, and more. His band, The Madison Arm's latest album, Two-Headed Hearts, features the best, most personal writing and playing of Jacobsen's career. Some reviews:

".. a straight-ahead winner of an album, full of fine songs…sad, majestic. Drawing upon strong lyrics and gorgeous backup vocals...The Madison Arm has made an album deserving of a larger audience."
-Scott Murphy, Salt Lake Tribune

"Patterson Hood + Hiss Golden Messenger...a pleasant, poetic treasure—it’s like reading a great writer’s book of short stories that you can’t wait to turn the page"
- SLUG magazine

"Folk-rock? Alt-country? Not sure what you’d label it, exactly; I just call it some of the best songwriting in these parts, delivered by masterfully skilled players."
- Dan Nailen, Salt Lake City Weekly
